A piece by our very own Laura Joy Fendel has been selected as one of 21 to be included in a special exhibit at Portland's Museum of Contemporary Craft. The Community Showcase exhibit includes works of art by members of the Columbia FiberArts Guild, exploring the theme of "text." Laura's piece is a fabric sculpture with Marcia Falk's version of the Hebrew "Modeh Ani" blessing. The exhibition lasts through December 4th.Museum of Contemporary Craft

I loved Laura's latest series at Celebration of Art. I remember standing looking at the pieces and just saying wow, over and over again!
